Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui's daughter Shora has made strides in her acting journey by starring in the musical Beauty and the Beast at London's West End Stage - Theatre Summer School. Following the performance, her proud father took to Instagram to share a photo of her. Nawazuddin expressed his delight as Shora, a budding young actor, embarked on her own path in the industry, showcasing her excitement during her time in London the previous month.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Nawazuddin reflected on his own fulfilling experience studying acting at Delhi's National School of Drama and expressed pride in his daughter's opportunity to undergo training abroad. He emphasized the value of workshops and training for actors, noting the benefits of learning from reputable institutions. Nawazuddin underscored the significance of specialized expertise in various fields, highlighting the necessity for aspiring actors to engage in workshops and serious projects to enhance their skills early on.
The actor stressed the importance of individual interpretation and personal growth in the acting profession, highlighting that everyone possesses unique expertise and cannot replicate others' work. Nawazuddin emphasized his desire for Shora to carve her own path and form her own perspectives, without feeling pressured to follow in his footsteps. My experience, training, and life are different. The perspective from which I viewed the world influenced my experience. Therefore, it would be very wrong for Shora to tell me that he would learn a lot from my experience.
